In 2019, TILRC launched a free, accessible resource available to any emerging leaders, teaching the fundamentals of nonprofit leadership. All experts teaching the materials are disabled people with diverse backgrounds.
“People say all the time that ‘the youth are our future.’ They won’t be if we don’t help them get the skills they need to lead. This was a way to make information, knowledge, and resources available to emerging leaders to help them move ‘out of the margins’ and into the center of our organizations. The disability community has a great deal of expertise, knowledge and creativity and we wanted to see that showcased.”
