If there is a problem we can’t help someone with we probably know someone who can. We are happy to provide information on or a referral to any other agencies or programs that can assist folks in meeting independent living goals or needs. We also provide information and resources to other businesses and agencies in the community to help them better understand their obligations under local, state and federal civil rights laws in promoting integration and access for all people with disabilities.

Transition Services

“Next steps” can be hard, whether it is the next steps young people are taking to leave high school and enter adulthood, or the next steps people are taking to leave institutions to re-join the community. For almost 40 years, our advocates have been helping people plan for, and go through, life transitions. We have a wealth of resources, checklists, and tools available to help make these exciting times of change a little less daunting.
