Beginning October 28, the University of Kansas will present a 2-day virtual event, Nothing About Us Without Us, to celebrate 30 years of the Americans with Disabilities Act at KU and honor National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). The event will be hosted by disability rights activist Judith Huemann. Read more about the event here.

Nothing About Us Without Us will include a host of speakers on a variety of topics such as: Students and Disability Rights Advocacy, Where are the Disabled Artists?, and The Independent Living Movement with TILRC’s Executive Director, Ami Hyten, on the panel.
