TOPEKA, May 14 — State officials are planning open-to-the-public reviews of next year’s social service budget.
The Department on Aging session will be at 10 a.m. on May 20 in the third-floor conference room of the New England Building, 503 South Kansas Avenue, Topeka.
The Department of Social and Rehabilitation Services’ spring stakeholders meeting will be at 3 p.m. on June 4 at the SRS Learning Center near the intersection of Second and MacVicar streets.
Both meetings will include question-and-answer sessions.
The two departments will host a joint hearing on long-term care issues on June 26. The meeting’s location has not yet been announced.
