ASL & BRAILLE SERVICES
Here is information on the Brailling and ASL Interpreter services provided by TILRC.
TILRC provides sign language interperting service as well as interpreter referrals.
We can also reproduce copies of your documents in a variety of alternate formats.
ASL Interpreting and Referral Services
Jolene Benham is a level 4/4 ASL interpreter, with over 10 years of experience. Her services are available anywhere within the state of Kansas.
Her rates are:
$30 per hour for daytime interpreting jobs
$35 per hour for evening and weekend jobs
plus $0.33 per mile.
For billing purposes there is a two hour minimum per job. Jobs of less than two hours duration will be billed for the two hour minimum.
TILRC also offers a free interpreter referral service. If Jolene is not available she can probably refer you to another interpreter who is.

Brailling and Alternate Format Copying Service
TILRC can reproduce your documents in a Braille and various other alternate formats.
Turnaround times will vary depending on the size of the job and whether the the materials have been pre-formatted. The price will depend on the size of the job and the particular format.
